Hello, I’m Domi

I'm a qualified yoga, breathwork & meditation teacher. I have a passion for the connection between the human body and mind, and how in reality they are one.

More about me:

  • A gentle introvert and empath, I cherish the slow, nurturing process of warming up to others.

  • I've journeyed through the fire of self-burnout, ultimately choosing survival over professional peaks.

  • Living in Berlin, London, and now, finally residing in the sun of Valencia.

  • I'm learning the art of slowing down and savoring life's simple joys.

  • My heart finds solace in the pages of books, my faith in the beauty of science, and my spirit in the warmth of endless cups of tea.

My story, my teaching

A few years ago I was chasing someone's else dream and I overworked myself. I wish I could say I was simply focused on my career, but the reality is I was running away from myself. It didn't last too long before my body started screaming in pain and I fell into a long-lasting burnout. On my way there the psychosomatic symptoms got unbearable.

Feeling like my body had given up on me I turned to my mind and went back to uni to deepen my knowledge of mindfulness and compassion. And it helped me to open up to new ways of moving through limitations. Because honestly, at the time, I couldn’t imagine being a yoga teacher who can’t do a single chaturanga anymore.

It took me time to accept the current state, but now my physical yoga practice is more considerate of restrictions and filled with breathwork that is accessible to most of us, despite our anatomy.

And I’d like to share these practices of gentle, yet sometimes dynamic, movement, combined with breath bringing more awareness of the present into our lives.

My latest fascination is yoga nidra which got a lot of recognition from neuroscientists. I’m a major learning nerd and I find it fascinating to read studies about the impact of yoga, mindfulness, and other practices I’m teaching, on people’s well-being.
